I sat down with my hot chocolate and a bit of baileys and knocked it out. Found a friendly beta and boom, done. under an hour. I had the easiest request ever...though it was the kind of thing where I felt I'd written it before.
Oh, you lucky girl -- 'The Life That Is Waiting' is so very very good. The world needs more Kasidyfic, and that story sets such an excellent example.
And I'm so looking forward to catching up on sanctuary_santa when I have half a moment to do so. Eeee, fandom is so great when it's being great and not dumb. Yay for that.
