the fantastic grav_ity wanted something post-Nemesis where Beverly and Jean-Luc talk about their shared thoughts on Kesprytt.

And she's been fantastically patient.

Ahhhh, this is really gorgeous. I read it a couple of times.

I think I've maybe said this before, but what I love about your writing is how you find the subtle points that are just below the surface and pull them out. I read it and I see things I realise I knew but never recognised. Like, "he had more than his share of patience. Probably some of hers too." When I read it I think, right, omg that's exactly the way to put that.

Lines like that make me flail with delight.

I really love this so very much. Especially when he says "I've always found your attraction inescapable." and "You're my point of reference."
Like the North Star!
I have always felt like the connection between them was almost like some kind of stellar phenomenon or universal constant...like E=MC2, or how one-plus-one is always two, or how you will always need something the day after you throw it away. There's no real quantifiable way to explain the truth of its existence because it simply IS and it's beautiful and just needs to BE. You captured that so perfectly here and I truly love it.
