Christmas 2010

I felt vaguely weird and unprepared leading up to Christmas this year, mostly due to the fact that it was on a Saturday. Somehow, I feel like Christmas should be preceded by a short workweek followed by at least 10 days of holidays. This year, I had to put in the full work-week (well, 4.5 days), and then the break in the middle feels short too -

Yeah I found that Christmas came and went before you knew it because of the full work week prior to Dec 25th. I too would prefer it if Dec 25 landed on a Wednesday.

I agree, because then we'll get a few extra days of holidays. I was disappointed to learn that we only got the one week.
