After dealing with this problem the other night this idea popped into my head.

Poor Luffy has been suffering from insomnia for the past few nights ever since they left the Flower Island (the island they went to in Movie 6), either sleeping very little or not at all from terrible nightmares. He tries to hide it, not wanting his nakama to worry, but eventually one of them finds out...and it just so happens to be the member of his crew that he's had a crush on for quite some time now.

I leave the pairing completely open for whoever wants to take this idea. However I would prefure not pairing Luffy with Chopper or Sanji.

Ah, this one calls me, I've had a hard time sleeping lately myself and I love the idea of post-movie-6-trauma fic. Robin ok?

I'd love to see other takes on this with different characters though.

If you want to write other fics with Luffy paired with the other crew members its fine with me ^w^

Heh, I actually just meant that multiple replies would be cool. Because movie 6 aftermath fic is win. I'll just write Robin. :)

I'm sorry, I've just not been able to fic this after all. You may get art, or a little doujinshi, from me, if I can make that work instead, but somebody else should take a shot at this if they have an idea!

After yesterday I was determined to draw something for this as an all-nighter project to keep me through election night. But I barely even did the first page! I have no idea how long it will take to finish the rest, but here's the page I've done as a preview.

Thanks! I've started to wonder if maybe the reason I had trouble writing this is because it's a more visual idea to me (I loved the whole look of that movie).

But it took something like almost ten hours to do this page so I have no idea how long it's going to take me to do more... ;_;

I'm not the OP, but I just wanted to tell you that this is lovely, anon~. The atmosphere is so fitting for the subject. Your style is really unique too--good unique, not bad unique. ;)

Robin noticed the dark circles under his eyes ^_^...he's beyond busted isn't he?
I look forword to the next page but please don't rush on my account. No good quality never came out of anything that was rushed after all.

And your artwork doesn't have any art fail on it so don't sorry about your work, your doing great.
