i've felt very strange as of late....i no longer feel as oppressed by my environment, because i have a lot more freedom. home sweet home
i came home to a huge, ugly mess in the apartment. within three days, we painted the apartment, organized most of our messy areas, and cleaned. my home is beautiful. it is a place where i can rest, and where I can celebrate.

i cooked a delicious dinner all day for my family. it was amazing. the most relaxing and enjoyable day of the year. two things would have made it better: a bigger kitchen, and sharing the time with max.

sometimes i am hit with the absolute vastness of the universe, and I am so grateful for my tiny little spot in it.
and even though it is all so massive and complex, it is all good. and that goodness is where simplicity lies. -

please stop making shitty musicals that make money because they were a movie at one time. it makes the rest of us who try to have artistic integrity look bad.
