i think the psychological effects of these games, tv, and movies have a greater effect on our kids than our society wants to admit or even knows. but what really has a screwed is bad parenting. or lack of parenting all together. when i have kids i can assure you that there exposure to such things will be heavily censored by me, the parent. that's my job, not the governments.
Censorship is a bad thing. It's like saying "Do what I say, because I know what's best". By that logic, if the authorities felt that your statement of computer games might negatively impact their computer game tax dollars, they might have your post censored. If you see where I'm going.

As for games being too violent these days, I agree with you, but I think games are but one aspect of many. If you think GTA:VC was bad, don't go anywhere NEAR postal 2.
i totally see where you are comming from. that's why censorship in our country is so controversial..on one hand we want to protect the lives of our citizen and on the other hand we dont want to offend anyone by what we regualate....
its so stupid i think..but see your old enough to know the difference between fantasy and reality..im talking about little kids getting hold of this game..
