Today I had an appointment to groom my very first real paying customer... for grooming anyway, because I already had one single customer coming by my claw-clipping drop-in last week *smile ( Read more... )

Hello, you!^^

Your very fist real customer. That is so amazing, even if it was difficult.^^ You had to fight, like you said, but you have to be proud of yourself for that one. Especially since this customer will come back!^^ And, who knows? Maybe that lady will come and see you more regurlarly and it'll become easier with time. :)

All in all, congratulations to you. Yay!^^

sorry for the delay in responding but just wanted to say I'm so proud of you and happy that you persevered and overcame such a testy first 'customer' XD. Imagine the owner will recommend you to her friends (who hopefully have better behaving dogs :)). Am so glad Bella helped you as well (helps maybe to make up for not being so helpful all the time around the house? : ))

*smile* Well I know you've had your hands full, I don't mind late replies at all.
Thank you! I do hope she will recommend me - that's the best way of getting new customers I think, when earlier customer recommends you *smile*
And yeah I'm glad too that Bella was there to help. XD When I told mum about it later she told me that if I ever have problems like that again I can just call her and she'll come over to help too. That's very nice to know (even though I don't know if sheäll be as good as Bella. XD Mum doesn't have the same good handling on animals, even if it's decent *smile*)

that was very kind of her to offer her support like that as well. It definitely does take a certain kind of personality and physical skill to handle animals properly (not sure I'd be the best candidate helper either lol)
