[Crowe will show up, and being polite, will come by with some home made cookies. Ilsa had been helping him out, after all. Though, he really didn't understand exactly how much food she meant she'd made.]

Whoa... You planning to feed the whole town?

A-Ah. Um. Quite a few months now. B-But for awhile I was trying it on my own! I've gotten a lot better since I've gotten help from you and Miss Ciel.

I started helping out in the kitchen when I was eight, and I still was worried about the entrance exam I needed to pass to get into the academy.

[ Ilsa gestures with the half-cookie in her hand. ]

This is a very good cookie for someone who just started studying this year.

[Oh. And here he figured he was a slow learner in this regard.] Oh! Um, really? My family, we ah... We had someone to do the cooking for us, so I never learned. I started to because there were a lot of times since I've been here that our house has been drone-fee, and no one else knew how to cook. I can only eat at that diner so often...

I am so sitting you down with my cookbooks if they get here. The ones here are not all that helpful, unless you already know the basics.

[ She gets a folder out of her desk in the corner of the kitchen, and starts making notes. ]

So, now we use your baking skills to branch out. What flavors do you like in foods?

Ah, well, my favorite food is Italian, I guess.

Aaah, northern or southern?

[Oh, he's pleased she knows there's a difference there.] Southern. I grew up in the north, but my uncle's from Sicily and always had the cooks making what he wanted. [He grins, thinking back on that.]

Aaah, Sicilian. I got most of my Southern Italian recipes from a classmate from the Bronx, but I think we can get close to the originals.

I'm sure it's better than anything I could do.

It will be something you can do by this time next year.
