Just making sure you do understand the nature of Candice's ability. She doesn't make suggestions to make someone believe them. Her illusions that she projects to another affect the other persons 5 senses and they have no way of knowing that these things that they are seeing are not real. Like with the kids at her school. She made them believe that they literally were on fire. That their bodies were actually burning and that their flesh was melting away. So much so that by the time she was through, their brains could not function because what they had witnessed and felt had driven them mad. They felt, smelled, touched, heard and saw the effects of the fire upon their skin.
Her illusions is one of the most powerful abilities of all the ones that was on Heroes. It's how Sylar in the episode Five Years Gone was able to masquerade as Nathan Petrelli for five years. Fooling even cameras as well as his family and the entire nation
