Canon Break: Season Six
Ability: Can slice and dice a body six ways from Sunday, has survived cancer, one alien virus, a couple of abductions, and about three serial killers...not to mention she's managed to work with Fox Mulder for six years and kept her sanity. If that's not a special ability, I don't know what is.
Bio:
Born into a Navy family, Dana Scully studied to be a surgeon, but decided to take up forensic pathology with the FBI instead. After three years working at Quantico, she was assigned to work with the eccentric Fox Mulder. Her objective initially was to act as a counter-balance to Mulder's wild theories, but over the years found herself drawn further and further into Mulder's work. While she is still the skeptic, Scully has seen enough to know that the strange and unexplained is very real.
This is a reboot of Scully from previous Shades incarnations. This is a Season Six Scully, the X-files have been closed and she and Mulder have been given grunt duty. While he's in the bullpen in DC, she's been sent by AD Kersh to New York to look into what Peter Burke is up to, more than anything this is an excuse to get her away from Mulder. While she's likely clueless on the idea of "specials", her years of working X-files would likely mean she wouldn't be particularly surprised.
