Don't Cross the Streams - Twitter RP and LJ

May 23, 2012 10:22

While many of us also RP on Twitter, we do not carry those storylines and verses over to rp_shadesofgray. Twitter is treated as a completely separate 'verse with independent RP.

Here's the way it works:
1 - What happens on Twitter stays on Twitter.

2 - What happens on Shades stays on Shades.

3 - If you want to RP out the same storylines on Twitter and Shades, we won't stop you, but you must keep track of your characters' relationships and the plots on your own. A mod will not do that for you. What it comes down to is the mods on Shades have zero input or say in what goes on, on Twitter. (Not that we're all that bossy on Shades either as long as you follow the rules.)

4 - If you and another player are joining Shades together, and you've RP'd out stories that effect your character's canon on Twitter, that background can be included in your character's canon on Shades. graylikeme and sylar used Twitter RP as the basis for their relationship on Shades when the game was very young. (In the beginning of Shades the entire set up was based on Twitter RP since that's where the players met.)

I think that's it. If you have any questions, please leave me a reply, and I'll try to answer.
