nope, its not true. straightening is only temporary, and as soon as your hair gets wet again, the disulfude bonds take hteir natural state.. natural curly/wavy (or permed.) :D i hope i helped.

the only wait you hair can become straight is a relaxer. of if you still want some curl, and body.. i would recommend a soft body perm. it uses large barrel curlers instead of tiny perm rods. also, they are less damaging than relaxers! <33
