So Ben made it home on Sunday. Still sore in the gut (three holes this time as opposed to one) but still doing remarkably well. Just hoping it all works this time, because if it doesn't, about all that's left for them to do is shove the bottom end of the shunt near his lungs or in his heart. With Ben's track record of anything that can go wrong

I'd see the doc (pick one) except I know that it could be a flare up of the glandular fever again, and I know that they'll just tell me to sleep and take these random tablets that don't do anything for a virus thingy anyway. But yeah.... Not really worth seeing anyone.
