Yesterday. Cleaned my room (holy shit, there's a desk there!), did various chores, cooked a butter cake which I turned into a chocolate cake (love for cocoa), and nearly blew a fuse with the amount of shit my brother was dishing out to anyone and everyone. Also applied for a job at Beresfield (place also has branches at Scone, Gosford, Tamworth and ( Read more... )

The 'alcohol=fat' thing... fairly trueish in that alcohol is really calorie intense, like a shot of vodka has 40 cals in it so if you get major drunk you've had like 400 cals (a full meal) worth of vodka and then all the fatty junk people (okay, I :P) eat when drinking means someone might get like 800 extra cals (which means more than half of what I should be eating a day). Cause clearly, I needed to just blather on about that, hehe <3

But woah! Screw New Years resolutions, you've got 'cause I can' resolutions, very strong! xx

Yeah, I know it's fairly trueish. One of the guys I worked with is a race car driver (forget the fact he's in his fifties) and he cuts the booze for a bit before checkups and such. I'm just not sure how much it affects my weight cause I've not really gone without for huge periods of time before.
But it's gonna be so hard, cause while I was typing that I was sitting there looking at the empty wine glass on my desk thinking "gosh I feel like a lambrusco about now" and completely forgetting what I was writing. :P
Must crack down! XD

Give me your chocolate cake and go to the library... and how about water aerobics?

Hmm, cake....

Nah, cake's for the brother. Libraries are good, I just need to avoid bookshops and such because I do compulsively spend. And water aerobics is a possibility but once I'm back working it's going to be difficult to find time regularly enough outside of work and tafe hours. The places I've looked at don't offer classes on the weekends from memory. As long as I don't overdo it though walking should be fine too.
