I'm glad you liked it.

Like I said, you don't need to know anything about the Deathstalker Saga to read this. All I really borrowed from it was 'Espers' and the fact that espers, clones and aliens (it's a sci fi book, I just added 'fae' after alien to make it work) aren't considered equals. But I highly suggest the books if you like books that are in depth, full of action, humor, plot and full of interesting and fleshed out characters with amazing villains (my all time favorite villain is in the saga), reluctant heroes and strong female characters. Only thing is there are eight books to the saga and all of them are around five hundred pages each. I know that some people wouldn't take on a task like that. I read them in one summer though.

Definitely reading this saga during Christmas. Sounds awesome. Reminds me of the House of Scorpion.

Anyways, this was fantastic! I can't believe how you created this whole universe for us in just 4K! That's so awesome!!! You thinking of continuing this? Either way it was epic!

This is only a very (oh so very) small bit of the Deathstalker Saga's plot. I highly suggest the books. Or really, anything by Simon R. Green. And I haven't heard of House of Scorpion. I'll have to see what that's about.

I'm glad you liked it. I wasn't sure if I managed to get the feel of a whole 'nother universe in 4K, so I'm glad you think I did. And I'll continue it if I can think up plot. So, maybe nothing, maybe a few oneshots or drabbles. I really can't be sure.

I love this universe so much. I think I'm gonna take a look at Simon Green's books. Anything you recommend other than the Deathstalker Saga?

As far as Simon R. Green's books go, I'd honestly suggest anything. Blue Moon Rising is my favorite (followed by the Hawk and Fisher series and Beyond the Blue Moon), Nightside novels are shorter but still fantastic, Drinking Midnight Wine is so, so funny and amusing, Shadows Fall has an ending that surprises you, Secret History Novels tend to have character from other books in them (the second of this has a character from the Deathstalker Saga and the third has someone from the Nightside). But really, anything by him.

I enjoyed the world building in this short, intriguing piece. Uther's hypocrisy and ruthlessness were sharply drawn and it was chilling when he confessed to having put his son down. This is not a man that should be followed. Charismatic, peace loving Merlin, on the other hand, is someone worth following. It's no wonder both Arthurs fell in line with a man worth believing in. A man worth loving. It all made for a very entertaining story.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did not like Uther at all in this story, and when I began it, I just had this image of him in my mind sneering down at Arthur with blood in his teeth. I did put that in and added the fact that he had his foot against Arthur's throat. But that scene was the driving force of Uther when I wrote him. Merlin was very peace loving, that was for sure. I'm glad you were entertained.
