A source has revealed to Too Glam that a big part of the sudden cancellation of the show was none other than Jody Claman. Allegedly, Jody became unbearable to film with, not just among her co-stars, but for the crew as well. Apparently she was demanding, insulting, and made filming “unbearable”.
Additionally, Mary supposedly refused to film the reunion with Jody which, let’s be honest, eliminates any reason to watch. Jody’s behaviour coupled with lower rating for season 2 made the producers decide that continuing to film wasn’t worth it and pulled the plug.
There were plans to launch another Real Housewives franchise in Canada. However, allegedly producers felt no one would be interested in Calgary, no one notable was interested in joining in Toronto, and producers felt the majority of Canadians would not have watched Montreal.
