Rachel is full of whoever she is talking to at the moment. That person who does the photorecaps nailed it. Just like the way she was like "WE'RE DOOOOOOMED" after Dick left - that wasn't her thought or feeling, she was echoing Dani.

I feel like she's a really sweet, normal girl who has never felt like an "it girl" and so she mimics people who she feels are superior to herself so that she can find acceptance.

And since Brendon is a similar personality type they're endlessly mimicking each other in a giant loop that never goes anywhere and it makes them both loco.
