Someone mentioned a couple of days ago that as a new Zach fan they wished someone would make a post with quotes and facts about Zach especially from his non-Trek interviews so here it is

“I played a high school basketball mascot, so I was in a massive chicken suit. There was fight between 2 main characters and somehow the bottom half of my costume fell down and I was standing in my boxer shorts in the middle of the gymnasium. I remember wondering: is this really my life right now? There was a dinner party at my house that night - I was like "Somebody pout me a very big glass wine"

Brigid Ryan, she's from Pittsburgh and attended The Carnegie Mellon school of drama with Zach.

“Jack Coleman was the first person I met on the show my first day of work. I showed up to kill the cheerleader, and I had just gotten cast the day before. So I was really like jumping in headlong, and Jack was great. We stood at my trailer, I remember, talking for a long time. It was really cool.”

Zach has an awesome older brother Joe, who takes photos and is generally better than everyone.
Zach on fashion trends he wish would go away
"Well, Ugg boots came and went, thank the sweet Lord. What do they have now that I can think of? I'm kind of over skinny jeans. They seem to be all the rage right now, and I could do without those, I suppose."

It's on a whole different level now, and we're spending all our time talking about Anna Nicole, and who's the baby's daddy, and how Britney Spears shaved her head”

He would choose invisibility. He says it would "simplify" his life to be able to disappear and reappear at will.

"I would say we both have a desire to be valued. My desire to be valued is manifested in cultivating relationships with my friends and family. Sylar's desire to be valued manifests itself...well, in a murderous rampage."
A car accident kinda changed his life
“I was a kid, driving too fast, I lost control.....I was joyriding around town and being a little flagrant about it. It was kind of late at night and I was coming around a bend and lost control. It could've been really serious because we stopped 5 feet away from a giant oak tree. Nobody got hurt, but it definitely led to some serious discussions with my family. I got a three-hour lecture about responsibility and what you're going to do with your life. It was really emotional and a cathartic experience. I guess that's when I claimed my place as an actor in life.”
