Some ideas for comments:

• SHOW US YOUR TREK!! Post photos of your shiny new DVD or Blu-Ray!
• DVD AND BLU-RAY EXTRAS: How many times have you listened to the commentary? Or watched the blooper reel? How about those deleted scenes? Share your favorite moments!
• HIDDEN/FORGOTTEN DETAILS: What had you forgotten about the movie that you totally loved seeing again? Or what new details did you see this time around?
• TREK VS. REAL LIFE: So, own up -- who here skipped school/work/etc to buy/watch the movie? ;)

(Although this is a party post, let's try to keep things at least vaguely DVD/Blu-Ray related so that folks who want to discuss it can do so without being buried under a flood of unrelated stuff -- thanks! :) )

EDIT: COORDINATED WATCH HAS BEGUN! I WILL TRY TO UPDATE THIS POST EVERY SO OFTEN SO THAT PEOPLE CAN JOIN US IN PROGRESS. THERE WILL ALSO BE A COORDINATED WATCH ON SATURDAY AT 1PM GMT.

• 23:15 -- first scene on Vulcan
• 23:30 -- Kirk tells McCoy of his plan to take the KM test again
• 23:45 -- Amanda gapes at the Narada's drill
• 24:00 -- Spock must go get his parents, the Narada retracts the drill, Sulu falls
• 24:15 -- Kirk and the Cloverfield monster roll down the cliff on Delta Vega, SpockPrime shows up with fire
• 24:30 -- Come with me, cupcake!
• 24:45 -- Nero chokes Kirk, Spock takes out the drill
• 24:59 -- Roll credits!
• 01:10 -- Start gag reel!

See you all on Saturday at 1pm GMT for the rewatch! (I'll be watching with the commentary on.)
