Maybe instead of just 'dvd', it could be a tag for shopping or merchandise? I think with the Christmas season coming up and having posted a couple of things about buying tribbles and box sets, it might be more overall useful? c:

hmm, a "merchandise" tag or similar is a good idea, though I think we should probably keep "dvd" separate as there'll be a lot of DVD reviews in the coming weeks. I'll run it by the other mods and see what they think -- thanks!

Yeah, that's true, though wouldn't it really only be one or two posts since repeat topics aren't really allowed? I'm not trying to fight/argue or anything, I'm just genuinely curious. I guess unless it was reviews on different features of the DVD it'd be a different story...

idk, it's almost midnight here and my brain kinda shut down with the exception of porn and computer navigation skills. xD

every single movie/dvd/whatever site out there will have a review of the dvd -- some have already posted (and been posted here). At a certain point we'll probably try to corral them into a single post, but just like every vague interview with JJ/Orci/Kurtzman about possibilities for the sequel gets posted (even though they don't really say anything new -- curse you JJ!), we'll probably see lots of DVD reviews. ;) There are several posts from the last couple of weeks that I need to go back and tag with DVD, so my guess is we're up over 10 posts already. plus we'll have the "show us your dvd" post, at least one "watch the dvd and discuss" post, etc....

If there is a place where it's NOT appropriate to express Garak/Bashir love, I don't want to be there. ;)

(though of course fanfic/fanart/etc should be posted to the appropriate master post, yadda yadda.)

Boy, I wish there was a way you could search through a comm for your own posts. I know I've put up at least one that would need a Walter tag - but for the life of me, I can't remember when it was, and with so many posts a day here...

I've got gmail and always archive LJ comment notifications for precisely this reason. I just search for the post topic in my email and ta-da!

I archive them too, but unfortunately I don't keep all of them. I guess I ought to start keeping at least one from each post so I can keep track. *headdesk*
