HAI GUISE.
Okay, here's the deal: I love J.J. Abrams to bits! I already had big love for him because of Lost, Fringe and Cloverfield... But a now he's gone and topped it all by making one of the most goddamn GQ movies in existence, thereby adding a new level of awesome to one of my favourite fandoms. So he's technically a genius and a GQMF in every way. HOWEVER, it's his addiction to lens flares that has messed with my head. Since watching Star Trek XI, whenever I see a picture of him on set, I can't shake the feeling that he's contemplating the addition of extra lens flares. Especially since reading an interview where he said he put them all in manually by shining powerful torches at the cameras :D
...BB just loves his lens flares! Hell, I love the lens flares too. But it does make me feel guilty that I see a picture of the master weaving his magic on set and all I can think is... "GUYS, BRING ON THE TORCHES - THIS SCENE NEEDS MOAR LENS FLARE!"
Anyone got any more J.J. or lens-flare-related macros? Post them in the comments!
