And here was I thinking that they couldn´t screw it more. How wrong was I. I hated the movie but I was entertaining the idea to buy the blu-ray, obviously they are not worth my money, that said I prefer to watch it when it come out on Netflix or by other not so legal means.

Not according to JB Hi-Fi. The 6 featurettes listed here are the same ones I have on my New Zealand edition Blu-Ray 3D/Blu-Ray version. They do have a version which comes with a replica of the Vengeance, but nothing which includes bloopers/deleted scenes or similar.

I would love to have seen some deleted scenes in there. Guess I'll have to see if I can find them online.

Thanks bb! ((hugs)) Guess that link was just false advertising. lol Basically, I was just going to purchase whatever one had Ben's deleted shower scene on it and be done with, but if NONE of them come with that... =P Will probably just get the one from Target later. meh

I can confirm it's false :( Checked Big W and it's got the same 6 features at JB - no Kirk and Spock featurette either! Hopefully some deleted scenes and bloopers will get leaked eventually

This seems to me like a very good strategy for completely killing the franchise. ST lives for the most part on the goodwill of the fans, who are the ones who see the films repeatedly, buy the recordings, collect the memorabilia, watch the TV shows (when there are any), etc. Here, the PTB seem intent on screwing that fanbase as much as possible. This is a story that never ends well.

For myself, they've already killed it with this last film. If ST returns to television, I'll give it a shot, but I'm not spending any more of my money on the bombastic, Bay-style yaya the films have turned into. Certainly I'm not going to lay out bucks for this Blu-Ray nonsense. Congrats, guys, one less lifelong fan giving you money.

Good grief!! That's horrific. I must admit I want able to see it in the theaters ::hangs head in shame:: so I really wanted the blu ray/DVD/digital copy but now I know I won't get everything that I want. ::pouts::

And then there was their odd decision to release the digital-only version 3 weeks before the physical dvd version. I just bought it from Amazon Instant Video then, knowing that I could stream it on my tv through my Wii (unlike if I got it from iTunes).
