TrekMovie has an article about Bryan Singer, who says he'd be quite happy if he could do XIII. There is also a link at the end to a EW article about other potential directors, and it's a pretty good list!
My sense of loyalty over Abrams has faded a lot over time, probably because it's fairly obvious he just kinda isn't a Star Trek fan, so while it would be ideal to have a more cohesive trilogy I don't exactly feel like I'm gonna lose sleep over whether he goes on to do the next one. I'm actually okay with a lot of this list...I think Rian Johnson would be too good to be true, if Oblivion doesn't get a terrible reception I might be okay with seeing what Kosinski does with the beautiful sci-fi setting and a good cast. I'd throw out Jon Favreau, with reservations. (Yes, it's too early to speculate about anybody but it's still interesting to consider.)
Whoever does it, I hope there's not a four year wait for the next one. Tick tock, tick tock, I ain't gettin' any younger here, people.
Of those listed I'd possibly go with Kosinski though I'm not familiar with all of them. Complete agreement about the Michael Bey comment...it looks like this one's going to blow up enough without someone like him working on it. Thank goodness he's not on the short list.
