I'm gonna be pissed if what Cas did is going to be all forgotten. How easily he's excused sometimes pisses me off.

I so agree. Cas took down Sam's wall and is the reason he's in the hospital. So is Dean just going to be oh well, we all make mistakes. Yet during season 4 he didn't fully forgive Sam until the end of the season!!

Sam is the only one that needs an entire season to be forgiven. Everyone else is finished off in a few episodes. I can even let it go if the writers are the only ones doing it - because it gives more drama, creates tension between the boys, gives them a whole season arc, gives them a reason why Sam would want to jump into the pit so willingly. But when the fans do it to Sam too? That's when it gets really unfair.
