I'M SO PROUD OF MY BB, I STAN HIM SENSE 2004 SO OFC I'M GOING TO BE FUCKING DAMN PROUD OF HIM
Maxim & Tanya are amazing. And to think they've been together such a short time still!
And omg, so glad Bazarova/Larionov medalled. <33
EDIT: "after which he skated off the ice for the allotted 3 minute break" -- how does that work, bb? under what circumstances can there be a break & how does it affect the score?
If you're injured or there is a problem with your skates, you can talk to the judges and ask for a "break" - the maximum amount you can take is three minutes, and if you haven't come back to the ice after three minutes, sucks for you and you are disqualified.
For example, Nobunari Oda's lace broke at the Olympics, so he had three minutes to fix his skate, and when he took the ice again, they made him start where he left off. (Same with Jeremy Ten at Skate Canada: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnsQO_HevyA#t=01m45s)
It doesn't affect the score, but sometimes it can rattle a competitor's nerves. Gachinski did pretty well after taking the ice again, but he fell on two jumps and missed his combo, so his TES was pretty low.

I love Max/Tanya SP much, so much energy, so passionate! Just love this program's choreo (and Max's porno-pants, lol)
I'm really happy with results so far (except for Liza :( ).
And Nikita/Elena were also great in their SD
