TAKAHASHI Q. How is your condition? A. Not bad, but not too good either. The only problem I have is the quad. The other jumps are alright, but the quad is not good.
Q. I thought it was getting better? A. It's strange that the quad toe is not coming back (compared to the flip). One day I can do it, another day I can't. It's just not consistent.
Q. Are you going to try the quad flip? A. This time I think I'll go with the quad toe, since I have been practicing it for this competition. I've also practiced the flip though. I don't know. If the quad toe is awful maybe I'll go with the flip.
KOZUKAQ. It's only about ten days since you competed in the Grand Prix Final

ASADA Q. How are you feeling compared to last year's Japan Nationals? A. I think I feel a little more relaxed compared to the Olympic season. This time I want to concentrate on my performance without worrying about my placement.
Q. How do you feel about the Japan Nationals [in gereral]? A. When I look back at my past experiences I was always able to give a good performance, so I hope I can compete with a good feeling.
Q. Did Coach Sato give you any advice? A. He told me to be confident.
SUZUKIQ. I heard that you were reworking your program for this competition

It seems every year Miki's condition has a downhill in the middle of the season. She usually get back her condition best by the worlds, so I don't worry about her :)
I really want Akiko to do great! She was underscored at the final so hope she'll rock the ice and show off her awesomeness to the judges. ;)
