According to this news clip, they crashed into each other during Daisuke's run through. Ouch.

In other news, Patrick Chan managed to get into someone's way AGAIN during the practice session. Apparently Oda was doing his step sequence and PChan just decided to step in front of him and start doing a spin.

OMG. That wasn't just a collision; that was Takahiko basically landing a jump on Daisuke's back!!

You know.. I have a bad feeling about Kozuka for the final.. He'll be under loads of pressure after that insanely high score at TEB and now this... looks to me like he's not 100% focussed... But I sure hope all 3 Japanese skaters kick some ass!!! Takahiko especially; he's such a cutie! He always makes me smile!

Same here. I heard he was being really careful and not doing much after the collision. I think this really messed him up. And Daisuke had a terrible practice too :(

Poor guys!! It's only understandable that they were a little out of sorts after an incident like that! I'll be crossing my fingers for the both of them!

I am so glad they are both OK.

I was wondering, when it's a skater's turn to do a "run through" at practice are the other skaters supposed to stay out of his/her way?

I think so. The skater doing a run through to the music gets the first priority on the rink. Takahiko acknowledges that it was totally his fault.
