I thought it said Orser had signed with IMG and that was the reason Yu-na's mom was dropping him. Obviously the google translation made no sense and I was making things up.

Yeah the internet translation made no sense. But from the FSU one it just seems that IMG is his agency (it would make sense he always had one as a popular retired skater who makes appearances now and then) and they were the ones announcing this news.

Well, according to the badly translated quote (lol thx google) i think Brian didn't even know it was coming that fast:
