I think Evan's people are getting him to suck the ISU's proverbial dicks so they'll do the same for him. But I only know about Johnny's opinion of the new scoring system.

My impression is that most skaters think it's too much to think about, at least that's what Sasha and Kristi said. You have to count your jumps, make sure you do the right combos, change edges, catch foots, etc.

A lot of commentators are proponents, but I think it's hard to tell.

Almost every skater and coach that's spoken of it says it leads to a more strenuous program as a whole, so I think they appreciate it, but don't enjoy it in that respect.

Generally people say it's more fair (but still unfair), so you know...

welllll, I went to hit track and I deleted my original post! FRICK! Have to go to bed. Anyway, thanks for the opinions. I don't think my mind will be changed on the subject... atleast not for a long time. It's fair in that, like Evan said you can clearly see what you scored on what elements. But the fact that it can reward performances with major flaws in them just gets at me somethin fierce. Well, whatever. Just grin and bear it I suppose.
