Wow, what a week, so many great performances, so many disasters. It's been an emotional rollercoasters and I'm totally exhausted. I don't think anyone's interested in reading my rambling, so have some pics instead.

Many thanks! You're so lucky to have been able to attend. I would love to attend a competition, but it's so much money. Nationals are in Boston next year, and I'd love to go see MC in what I'm sure will be a spectacular pre-Olympic competition. But I'd have to raid my "condo fund". Tickets are so expensive that I'd set myself back a year or more in my quest for my own place to live. I'll just have to be content seeing MC in SOI, provided the tour survives.

I gotthe impression Yuna is a lone wolf who likes being by herself. But I was also like Y U NOT PLAY WITH THE OTHER KIDS BB? I got her autograph too, and Kana (CUTEST BB EVAR) and Marlie. You should update your Mao/Yuna pic with this world's podium ;)

You totally should have stayed. The lady who gave you her sister seat didn't attend the gala, so she gave me her ticket. You could have come for free, I had to take my mom instead :p

Yeah they invited him as a special guest because of him being such a star basically. Also Dai! Both performed nicely, so it was neat they got invited. IDK if someone else did because of the same reason bc I didn't see the whole gala.

They invited all of the Canadians, jewbear, dai, li Zijun, p/b (who didn't end up attending), Ashley, scimeca/knierim. Jewbear is a fantastic show skater, the crowds love him. But you can see in his spins/footwork/transitions he's an old pre-cop skater which is why he gets dinged in the marks :(

And yeah, Nan Song is actually really hot imho (I mean what a gorgeous face) but kid IS on the thin side and did look like he was sort of tired with the season already.

D10 is totally our champion, screw the judges. Also he's really grown up recently, hasn't he? xD

Max's fall was like the most unexpected thing ever (also lol at how she did a similar thing in the gala), but still a great program. What was actually the most amusing (but also sad) tho is the way he was beathing himself up for it. Dude you won, chill.

He's as hard on himself as Mao is, and when he's not perfect he's really disappointed in himself. Must be stressful in a sport where it's so easy to fuck up.

I feel like all of Team China has been exhausted/injured this season. IDK if the federation is pushing them that hard before Sochi or if they're just feeling the pressure but...yeah

Oddly, all the men looked exhausted in the lp. And there were so many wtf falls the entire competition where people were splating for no good reason
