Yeah, I though Javi really knew what he was doing here. It feels like the other men haven't quite perfected their programs yet.
With Yuzuru, don't get me wrong, I love him, but I felt like he was trying to be Daisha but doesn't quite have the performance charisma down yet.
Dornbush I have the same comments about, and Johnny I'm a little disappointed in. I don't like the choreo so much - the footwork looks like every other show program he's done recently. I am glad he's trying the 4T though (I don't think he could be competitive without it, to be honest!), and I think he looks good in terms of presentation.
I'll keep my eye out for Medal Winners Open, but so far no youtube videos. :(

Welcome back Johnny :DDD even if with lady gaga music i don't care, not bad for a guy who was out of the ice for a couple of year, he needs to control de spins and the jumps other than that well done johnny. Love the costume, i know i'm bs but for sure he is the only american skater i really enjoy watching. I want johnny to medal please
Aww, me too! I really hope Johnny medals at Finlandia. I think if Dornbush does another blah program, Johnny stands a good shot at the podium! *knocks on wood*
I kind of thought the classical Lady Gaga was cool *but* I've heard and and seen his Poker Face way too much to actually like the choice in music. If he wanted to do an ode to Gaga or his time off I think he should have went for You and I or anything that was a bit more different in style than Poker Face or Bad Romance. I also hated that spin...so much. I know a lot of the challenging mens spins are ugly, but I found that particularly ugly (I might still be a bit pressed over ugly pairs lifts at Nebelhorn). Aside from that, I expected he'd attempt quads and I'm glad I wasn't disappointed. I hoped that he'd be taking this come back seriously and I'm glad that that's the case

I think you hit the nail on the head with Yuzuru - it definitely made me think of Daisuke, and I don't think Yuzuru is quite ready for something like that. I wonder if it was his choice to do that or his coach's choice (which, OMG BOrser is his coach - when did this happen?!?).
