Okay it was an ugly program, but you can't really fault them for trying. It is in part a rumba after all. Though the rumba pattern leaves little to be desired, but that's a whole other peeve.

Nah, it just looked trashy. You can do a rumba without needing all the hair flipping and pouting - an example of how to do a rumba in a way that would suit B/S a lot more.

Ksenia needs to re-examine her life choices tbh. That dress.... and the switch away from Galina doesn't seem to have helped her jump technique at all. How many ladies spots does Russia have for Worlds? Because the Polinas are age eligible & I don't think there was a huge amount between that skate and there jgp performances this weekend..

I didn't mind R/T's skate, B/S's was kinda meh.

For pairs I really enjoyed I/M's and B/L's. G/E were okay and I didn't care for K/S at all. V/T... that ex was not very good and I hope their programs are better than that.

Ksenia... just no. I hope Russian Fed has a good long chat with her about that shitfest.

I am feeling kind of meh about most of these programs, hopefully they'll get better, or I'll warm up to them.

I hated Ksenia's program. I won't be surprised if she doesn't make the world team.

I/M are my favorite Russian pair after V/T so I hope they start doing better. I liked K/S's program more than I thought I would.

I like Riazanova's dress and their SD is okay.

Who else was at this test skate? I want to see more ladies.

I haven't found any other videos - Alena is probs in NJ still, Adelina was sitting out with a slight leg injury, and the younger ones did it as part of the closed junior skates in August I think.

Alena&the rest of Morozov's group returned from NJ yesterday, so they are all jetlagged; Elena Ilinykh came down w/the cold, so they didn't skate today; there was major music fail during Alena's and Polina Korobeinikova's skates (probably because the disc was a bit overused, as they skated to Requiem for a dream and Otonal, respectively), but anyway, Alena asked not to upload her video because of that. Oh, and Plushy's son was in the audience :)
