In the latest interview, Dai said he might do ice dance as a pastime after his retirement. In that case, someone must kidnap Meryl (or Maia?) and take her to Japan for him.

Maybe Daisuke is being cautious about being in too good form so early before the Olympics because of what happened with his injuries following the 2008 season? But those spins tho...

I'm happy they're all working together! Zazoui is one of my favorite choreographers and IMO D/S's edge work and basics are better than any ice dance team today, so it can only help!

Yeah, it occurred to me that he might not be focusing so much on quads because of the surgery. Idk, it may be too soon? But the spins...he has great spins (I could stare at that layback for hours), but last season they were all over the place...:/

Ofc, ofc, I'm sure they have a ~plan.

OMG, HE IS IN LYON!

Given his well-known admiration for Anissina/Peizerat and Delobel/Schoenfelder, this move makes so much sense. But how unreliable the Japanese media (or JSF?) are! They said he was going to the US! LOL.

I kind of suspect it was JSF that gave the false information to the media, unintentionally, ofc. They are sometimes so amateurish.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw it! The second thing I thought was that it's kinda said that I recognise these things lol.

I don't think I'd mind much if he kept his FS. It's such a wonderful program, and he never got the chance to skate it clean.
