I AM REALLY EXCITE FOR IT, BUT I WISH THEY WOULD LOOSEN UP THE RULES ABOUT WHO IS ELIGIBLE, THERE ARE STILL LOADS OF PRO SKATERS (ILIAAAAAA) WHO WON MEDALS BEFORE 2002 THAT I WOULD RATHER SEE THAN THE PPL WHO ARE ELIGIBLE BY WINNING WORLDS MEDALS THIS YEAR.

I BET THE "MODIFIED ISU JUDGING" MEANS THAT SCORES WILL BE BASED ON WHO CAN ~CURRY SCOOT'S FAVOR THE MOST

Yeah, unless they put waaaay more emphasis on PCs and reward interesting choreopgraphy etc, it will be very skewed towards skaters who are currently competing or only just retired. Maybe the cash bonus for hard jumps thing is how they'll reward the technical stuff instead. IDK.

Sounds interesting, but I'm curious about the possible dates for the competitions because there're still some eligible skaters in those lists that are probably more worried about Euros, Worlds, etc. (Chan, Artur, Kozuka, Shibs, Mao, V/T, etc)

Maybe it will be in the summer after the main competitions are over? Or maybe doing it in the middle of the season is a way to make it easier for the retired skaters because the ones still seriously competing won't care so much :P
