maybe this year considering the US's stellar international showing they should have made medalling at 4CC part of the criteria for being in the A bracket rather than the B. As it is, the USFSA is saving lots of money for next season

I hate to comment since I lack any knowledge of how the envelopes work but... How could Jeremy NOT have made the A list? He medaled twice in GP events!

I agree, it's bad enough 4CC doesn't have enough weight as is, this just devalues it further. I love the D/W and V/M always go no matter how well they're doing.

Not sure about the criteria tho

So if you finish 4th in the US Nats you get the same $ as someone who wins a silver at 4CC. Or if you get a medal in the GPF you get the same money as someone who finishes 10th at Worlds...

I'm so glad for Alissa btw

Is it normal to only have 1 man and 1 lady in Team A like that?
I'm not very knowledgeable about this envelope stuff. haha

I assume it will vary from country to country depending on what the countries best teams are in. Ice Dance will be pretty empty in Japan, but I assume they'll have a lot more singles.

Which was the whole point of this thing. To encourage "cultivation" of all disciplines in more countries.

This is just a US thing, other countries don't organise their funding in the same way.
