I am not a hater. One has to view things realistically. You can not compare Weir with Plushy, Plushy has an exquisite position in the Russian figure skating. Weir has not an exquisite position and US has good and strong young skaters. I rather think he will compete for another country that could go well. He could be released after 18 Feb. 2012 without permission of the U.S. fed. I would prefer to answer the question for which country he will be competing?
WAT, I THOUGHT HE HAD ALREADY MADE HIS MIND UP TO COME BACK. -___- GDI WHY CAN'T YOU BE DECISIVE, JOHNNY
Imo, regionals/sectionals would be good for letting him practice his programs in competition. Although, i'm so scared of him failing miserably, and if he did that at a qualifying competition... oh my god my heart wouldn't be able to take it D':
I love to see Johnny skate, but I'm not sure I want him to come back, tbh. I wish there were enough skating shows for Johnny to make a living, but unfortunately that's not the case. Therefore, I feel he should just keep on working on a new career (likely in fashion).
But if he decides to come back, I'll be cheering for him (through a cloud of anti-anxiety meds, lol).
At this point Johnny has so many things going on in his life that I would be surprised if he skated competitively again.
IMO, if the US stanned figure skating like Russia, Japan or Korea did then Johnny could channel his creative energies and personality into a wonderful ice skating show and it would sell out ice rinks around the country. I think he could create something magical and unique.
I would like to see him eat a slice of humble pie, stomp everyone at regionals/sectionals, and compete again with real competitive choreo (transitions!), even if his jumps wouldn't be 100% yet.
They are the same hoops anyone would have to jump through in your position, Johnny.
LOL that comes off harshly. I love him and I'd love to see him compete again. He just annoys me sometimes. XD

I still like him and would want him to do well, if possible.
