I would love to see all skaters be offered a chance to participate in the program. Especially if it seems to really help with jumps. We shall see...I think this is so exciting!

I think this computer imaging program at the University of Delaware is fascinating. It seems to be similar to they way computer generated images of actors are taken and used in movie production, like Gollum's movements in LOTR were actually computerized from Andy Serkis (SP?) wearing a motion suit and acting out the movements.

Anyway, I wonder why Mirai did not complete the program, only Adam so far. Also who who choses which skaters get their jumps analyzed? Since the USFSA and USOC funded the program then maybe they choose? Is the focus on Skaters they believe most likely to be at Sochi?

I tweeted Jeremy and asked if he had done the program but he ignored me, but I would have thought he woe be a reasonable choice as he is a top ranked male skater.

I FULLY approve of Armin being analyzed and WOULD IT NOT BE AWESOME FOR ARMIN TO START QUADDING???

I wonder how Adam's quad lutz is coming, too, I just HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS

It's a model that shows how they jump and then uses physics and shit to say what they could do differently in terms of body position or technique to make the jump closer to "perfect". It's not so much the 3D part as the information they get from the model to change the technique~

dude I think this would help a lot, I was in the middle of wanting Russian skaters to go through this
