So if the higher ranked skaters get more Grand Prix spots does that mean other Skaters lose out on a chance to compete internationally?

So...does this mean more competitions for top tier skaters and less chances for others??? If so I'm afraid it will lead to more injuries and earlier retirements. DNW.
I like the basic idea of ICE (LOL THIS ACRONYM) but why does it have to be open to eligible skaters...? I want Stephane, Shizuka, Shen/Zhao and The Kerrs to win this, thank you \o/

I'm worried about the higher pressure on the top tier skaters too, I think they're all stressed out enough as it is :-/

As for the team skating thingie... *facepalms* I'd honestly rather have them begin a competition in which they really strip off all the artistic elements and just have everyone do a jump competition (sure, if they want to market it as "wild" like skate boarding and extreme sports, go for it (I'll totally dig it, to be honest), and then revert ice skating to be a bit more like what it used to be in the 6.0 scoring system, in which spectators can actually join in the fun in... speculating (rather than scratching their head at the incomprehensible numbers) and where fans of the sport who like the artistic side of things get their fix. The team thing is ... giving every skaters another chance to perform the exact same routine? Or there's a team routine? I don't know O_o.
