Ooh, thanks! I'll throw that into the post now!

ETA: And re: the photo, it took me ages (and lots of consulting with yodante) to figure out which one to use. XD I wanted to use something Japan-relevant, but I didn't think a picture of Johnny's toenail would be very appealing to people, there are no large/crisp photos of Johnny in the yukata he wore, and so on... so, in short, it took me forever to find and decide on it (not that I really minded going through my collection of pictures) and so I'm glad you appreciate the photo! XD

I love it too! I've never seen that one before. Thank you for putting together this beautiful post! I hope he sells lots of tshirts and raises lots of money to help Japan :D (He sold one to me anyway.)

Yeah, there were a few eyebrow-raising things in this interview. The part in the sub-headline about "the closet costing him a magazine article" also irked me because he spent half the interview explaining how he was never in a closet.

One thing from this interview that bugged me a bit was how Johnny spent a lot of time talking about how he doesn't change himself for BGJW and how he's showing what it's like to be Johnny Weir, even if his life isn't normal... and then he talks about having walking lessons with Miss J on the show. I think part of it is that he also talked about how they were pushing him to go on a date for the show in the Russia fanmeeting, and I'm just a little worried about how staged/scripted the second season is going to be. I guess that's sort of expected with any reality TV show that becomes successful, though, and I'm sure I'll still end up enjoying it!

Also, I'm usually happily swimming in an Egyptian river, but this interview sort of makes me think he's not even trying to convince *himself* that he might come back to competition anymore. Just the way he was talking about his career and skating at the end...

Other than that, I really enjoyed this interview! And Johnny's PSA is pretty adorably awkward. :3

the only one left in the Egyptian river is Johnny himself if he thinks the opportunities he should have had were taken away from him for being "eccentric", "loud", "dramatic".

You know ITA, but just in case you didn't, I really do :P

I'm so glad you posted this!! I love him so much for the T-shirt and the (adorably awkward) PSA, and for tweeting endlessly about Japan relief. *___*
