Ugh. The sheer existence of WTT led me to suspect that Oly team comp proposal would come to fruition. I just see bad things coming of this. Figure skating isn't speed skating, doofus.

Both countries have time-consuming entry visa procedures under normal conditions.

*headdesk* totally forgot about this *oblivious EU-citizen*

Finally some real news about worlds! I'm so glad they won't hold it in October....

lol I always forget about visa problems too - obviously they should hold it in Germany or France or somewhere so all the EU people don't have to worry...

Moscow let in about 60 000 Chelsea fans without visas in in thast November (it was "you got a ticket for the play - you automatically got a visa"). I'm sure it can repeat the process for skating fans.

Happy to hear this! I actually thought to myself that Russia probably could make such a deal possible without any problems but remembering the visa process of the US and their precautions to prevent attacks from terrorists I doubt they would accept such a deal.

*secretly rooting for Russia*

Not sure what is the logic that having the Worlds somewhere else in Asia would be more of "a slap in the face of the Japanese" than Europe or NA, but w/e, w/e. Good it won't drag on to October, I suppose.

lol they are not, they can't do it in Asia because Korea cannot do anything at this point because of the 2018 Olympic bid (also, they really don't have +8,000 spectator rink at disposal rn along with the acommodations trololo) and the other countries didn't show any interest. Cinquanta is just pulling out another herpderp out of his ass.
