I'm rather surprised myself. I know they had that training accident, leaving Jeremy needing like 42 stitches recently, but I didn't think that they'd quit so soon.

Unfortunately, U.S. pairs aren't new to the musical partner swap game; it's likely why we rarely see big international results from them.

Yeah. Although I do find it incredibly awkward that Sale and Pelletier still skate together after their divorce. :-/

Hopefully Amanda and Mark and Caitlin and John can make some strides for U.S. pairs, but I guess we'll see. I am curious to see how Mary Beth and Rockne turn out too - I enjoyed their freeskate at Nationals, as hot messish as some stuff is at this point.

I mean, I guess it makes sense, given a lot of factors, but I was still totally shocked to hear it. Oh well - here's hoping Caydee finds an awesome new partner!
