It's nice to know there are still applications for cloning, now that next-gen sequencing has eliminated the need for that with mixed-DNA samples, lol.

Haha, fair enough! I am by no means any sort of biologist and certainly not at this kind of level. I suppose the idea just made me feel a bit strange.

Paranthetically, though, Betül is a female name, so that would be "her doctoral advisor." (I understand that the original source made the mistake.)

I thought it was weird that there was a picture of a woman, whom I assumed was Kaçar, but then it said "he." Thanks for pointing it out!
