In a paper published today in the journal Science, a University of California, Davis, researcher and his co-authors challenge a widely held assumption that plants will move uphill in response to warmer temperatures

I'll make it a resolution for the new year. The ironic thing about that study was that it was done for a class, and I got a terrible grade for it. I removed that professor from my dissertation committee shortly thereafter. It turned out to be a smart decision. He was denied tenure and gone from the university within the year.
