You never know! I think we're getting close; they showed some really cool touch screens on the intro for the new NCIS spinoff. Super cool toys.

My World History teacher in HS had one of those. His dad sold them or something, so he got it for free/cheap.

That's so badass. It'll be cool to see the price of TV's plummet if this reaches the market. :)

On an unrelated note, would it be possible to make the default text color a little bit darker? Maybe it's just because I needs new glasses, but I'm having trouble reading the text. kthnx.

An easy combo to deal with the "must be used in a lit area" is just include a few tiny LEDS around the edge to direct light onto screen. They're highly directional, so they'd be perfect here and use a tiny amount of current.
