Herpetologist Robert Drewes at the California Academy of Sciences is reportedly thrilled to have a 2-inch-long, penis-shaped mushroom from the African island nation of Sao Tome and Principe named in his honor, Phallus drewesii.
Well, who wouldn't be thrilled?! Also, I vote the killer sponge as the coolest animal on the list.

Jameson says that the cool factor plays a part, but, I think, with that mushroom, the "hurr hurr hurr factor" was foremost.
I need to discover a new species of barnacle and give it a genus name like "Yonii," or something.
