this is promising

I have a friend who's nine year old has one of those pumps that automatically injects insulin (she was using a needle 4-5 times a day and it still wasn't working out for her), I'll foward him the article

he's a scientist so he'll actually understand most of this LOL

Diabetes (type 1 especially) is a horrible, horrible thing :(

Great news. My lab is working toward a cure, but until that's developed one big HECK YEAH for measures that'll improve blood sugar control and make the pumps more user-friendly.

This is great! I've had type 1 diabetes since I was 2. Can barely remember life without it.
