Ugh, truffles did not sound appetizing before...but now they sound even less appetizing.
“If collected at late maturation stages, the truffles will likely carry eggs and larvae - adding proteins and aroma to the truffle,” Dr. Martin said.
Uhhhhh, ew.

That's a very cool article. A fungus that imitates the sex hormones of at least two entirely different animals. :P
