SO ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THE EXTRALIGA?

I'd love a primer like we've had for the KHL and SM-liiga, but I'd settle for a pronunciation guide. Haha.

I am familiar with the basics of a lot of language families (I have a background in linguistics), but the Slavic languages are totally beyond me. I have a couple friends who speak Czech, but they have a tendency to get bored and wander off when I talk about hockey, so I will have to plan my bugging them all the time (because I hate not understanding/being able to properly say things) veeeeeeeery carefully. ::strokes evil goatee::

Oh, and I'd totally like to know, like, hockey things too. Since between three of my favorite Bruins going there and my awkward mega-boner for Jaromir Jagr, I'm probs going to be watching a lot of Extraliga games--I think I've seen them listed on my regular streaming sites.

Also I'm sad that he texted you and not me, although I think he was witness to part of that time when Brad Marchand walked past the window at work and I freaked my shit in the most embarrassing way possible in front of some poor European tourists and maybe wanted to spare any innocent bystanders the force of my squealing.
