I only read the bolded part and don't care about the rest, tbh. My night just got a little bit better.

Aw, if he's retiring from politics, who will be president of lolbertarian island?

More importantly: Does this mean Paul supporters will shut the fuck up now?

I actually met two guys recently who introduced themselves to my friend and I with their names and, "We both think that if we'd been on those planes on 9/11, we wouldn't have let them crash into the towers." They went on, colorfully including racial slurs until my friend and I were completely flabbergasted. For the record, we were outside a movie theater, not crashing a white pride rally.

So ridiculous. I kind of get where Paul might have been going with this (if he believes that the government knew about the attacks and allowed them to occur), but yeah ... now I'm just picturing him all suited up with those two yahoos trying to take down the big bad brown people.

Wait, wait. These guys just walked up to you and started talking this shit? Were they trying to pick you up or something? Make themselves look tough (lol) with what-ifs and racial slurs?

...Wow. That's bold, to say the least.

I was with a guy, so I don't think it was a pick-up. I think they were just ... weird. We were standing outside a movie theater, and it was right after the whole Batman/Dark Knight shooting thing ... but it was basically like their way of introducing themselves. I think they thought they sounded cool/tough or just funny.

We laughed about it, but it was more - OMG how awful and how awkward, laughing AT them for being such blatant racist fools.

Not occupying foreign nations? Drastically reducing the military budget? Auditing the fed? I do not get why the article mentions these kinds of things so condescendingly.
