I'm not sure that it can. If you throw money about then it makes you look like you don't care about the common people that have none. It makes you look like you're in it for the few and not the many. If Obama continues making that point then people will I think see it that way because they listen to Obama more. I don't think money can buy that. It certainly can't buy class.

This news is very concerning, because the majority of deeper-pocketed candidates win-- at least in terms of the house & senate.

Mittens buying this election is one of my greatest fears.

You can have all the money to run, but this election will come down to the economy. If unemployment goes down, Obama will win.

That, or some big disastuh a la Lehman Bros. four years ago. That sealed the election for Obama.

I'm not sure, tbh, if an upturn in the economy alone would put Obama back in. I'm pretty worried. My boyfriend relayed to me a comment he saw on a news article where the poster is basically like, "if I had to choose between the multimillionaire (Romney) and a community organizer (Obama) to run the country, I'd choose the multimillionaire!"

People seem to be voting for people based on all kinds of stuff that isn't even relevant.

Simony! (lol--I love The Borgias way too much).

But this is a legitimate issue, and damn the SCOTUS assent to Mordor AND STAY THERE.
